On June 15, 2023, Nettie passed away from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, goodness, and treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
As a pillar of the neighborhood, Nettie was renowned for her unfailing friendliness, contagious laughter, and warm heart.
She had a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of numerous pupils over her career as a committed teacher.
Nettie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren outside of the classroom. She surrounded them with advice, love, and experience.
Nettie kept her Ukrainian roots dear to her heart and was proud of her ethnicity.
On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, 801 Jackson St, Dauphin, MB R7N2N3, a rosary ceremony will be performed at 10:30 AM, followed by a burial service at 11:00 AM. She was very active in the church.
Donations to Manitoba Cancer Care can be contributed in remembrance of Nettie and her influence on many lives. This is indicative of her caring attitude and willingness to assist people in need.
