New Indiana Jones Movie Trailer With Glasgow

Indiana Jones

For the first time, scenes from the upcoming Indiana Jones film, which was partially filmed in Glasgow, have been aired.

During the summer of 2021 filming of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the city was transformed into an American street.

In a recent trailer, Harrison Ford, now 80, can be shown riding a horse around New York City and into subway tracks.

A Ford body double was visible riding through a parade scene while the horse chase was being filmed in Glasgow.

Other moments in the film include multiple shootouts, a fast-paced automobile pursuit, and a younger, less-aged version of the famed fictitious archaeologist.

More than 40 years after portraying the same character in Raiders of the Lost Arc in 1981, Ford has returned to the role of the famous explorer in the movie.

Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas are also included in the cast, while Phoebe Waller-Bridge plays Helena, Indy’s goddaughter.

With star-spangled flags, bunting, and old storefronts on display throughout the filming, Glasgow’s city center was hardly recognizable.

Its streets were converted into 1960s New York in a set constructed over a month.

Furthermore, passersby could see clues to the plot.

One of the signs said, “New York greets Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins,” a reference to the astronauts from Apollo 11, who made history in 1969 by becoming the first people to set foot on the moon.

“Welcome home” banners may be spotted in the windows of other historic storefronts.

On June 30, the movie will be released. It comes after the first sequels Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), and Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (1994). (2008).
