In a recent interview, Nick Cannon admits to having his ‘hands full’ and being ‘focused’ with his 12 children.
Nick Cannon, age 42, does not rule out having additional children. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the father of 12 stated that he believes “God chooses” when he will stop having children. When asked if he plans to grow his family in the future, he replied, “God chooses when we’re done.”
He continued by admitting,
“I’ve got my hands full.” “And I’m so concentrated. I’m confined. But when I am 85, who knows? I could.” He then laughed at the notion of having additional children at an older age.
After being photographed on a date with Abby De La Rosa, with whom he shares three children, including one-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and three-month-old Gorgeous Zeppelin, Nick made his most recent comments regarding children.
They dined at the Nobu Malibu restaurant and were stylishly attired as they smiled outside the establishment.
Nick shares 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Golden, 6, Powerful, 2, and five-month-old Rise with Brittany Bell, the late Zen, and two-month-old Halo with Alyssa Scott, Legendary, 7, and Onyx, 5, with Bre Tiesi, Bre Tiesi, and LaNisha Cole, respectively.
The delighted parent said in June that he engages in consensual non-monogamy, a phrase he learned from his therapist, which explains why he has numerous children with different partners.
“People want to label what I do as polyamory or polygamy, but I always argue that defining me is confining me,” he stated in a YouTube Live broadcast.
The Wild ‘N Out actor is confident in his romantic decisions, but he has revealed that his “greatest regret” is not being able to “spend enough time” with all of his children. In a December episode of The Checkup with Dr. David Agus, he said, “As a father of several children, my greatest regret is that I don’t get to spend enough time with each of my children.”
“One, because I’m always working, and two, because I’m overextended.”
