The former BBC Radio One announcer and DJ flaunted his sparkling gold engagement ring in a stunning Instagram photo while standing on a beach with the setting sun in the background. He claimed that he had been proposed to and accepted in the caption.
While Meshach “Mesh” Henry is not well recognized, Grimshaw, sometimes known as “Grimmy,” has long been well-known as a TV and radio host, particularly for his BBC Radio One Breakfast program.
A professional dancer in his mid-20s named Mesh made it to the BBC Young Dancer Competition finals in 2015. He joined the independent dancing company Rambert after the contest. They started dating in 2018.
Why don’t we start from the beginning?
In 2018, Meshach “Mesh” Henry moved from the Breakfast programme to the Drivetime show, where he eventually met Nick Grimshaw. The new routine gave him more time to focus on keeping up a healthy love life. The Daily Mail reports that the couple was first spotted in Oxfordshire’s Soho Farmhouse in October 2018.
Early on in their relationship, the couple seemed to be content, according to those close to them. And when Grimmy asked Mesh to move in with him in 2019, their happiness inspired them to take their love to the next level. The duo started cohabiting in North London. Grimshaw’s close friends claim that the pair was content to live together.
Moving in together made complete sense because they spent all of their time together and Mesh frequently stayed over. The insider stated, “Nick [Grimshaw] invited him [Mesh] to live with him, and everything has gone really well.” “They get to spend a lot of time together during the week because their careers aren’t traditional nine-to-five jobs,” says the author.
After living together for three years, Mesh proposed to Grimmy. Nick gushed on Instagram, “And in gay news, this evening… got proposed to, obviously said yes.” After several pictures of him flashing his ring, the last image on his post featured the recently engaged couple posing for pictures in a photo booth.
Several of the couple’s friends posted their congratulations on Instagram as soon as they learned that the proposal had been accepted. Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, and Clara Amfo all said, “Bring on the wedding of the century,” as compliments flooded in from all corners. While any information about the proposal has not yet been made public, Nick Grimshaw’s fans are anxiously awaiting word on the couple’s intended wedding date.
