The 42-year-old Omar Green has been charged with Nikita Noel’s killing. Stepfather Omar Green is reported to be a 9-year-old girl. Green was close to Nikita Noel’s mother, Nordia Edwards. Nikita Noel’s alleged murderer is from Barbary Hill Lucea. His occupation was building. He got a notification from Hanover Circuit Court on March 28, 2023.
A press release from DPP Paula Llewellyn announced that Omar has been awarded legal counsel and chosen Albert Morgan as his lawyer. The DPP has set a hearing in Hanover Circuit Court on Monday, July 3, 2023, to complete the file, provide a mental assessment report, and reveal all evidence to the defense. The event allegedly happened on the afternoon of February 1, 2023.
Esher Primary Student Nikita Noel
The Jamaican girl, Joanna, attended Esher Primary. As usual, she took a cab with her regular driver after school and got out on the road that climbs a hill to her family’s house.
In a domestic argument with her mother, Nikita Noel died. Even so, the mother called 911 when her daughter didn’t come home and she couldn’t contact her. The police and community looked for the girl. A few steps from her home gate, she was found dead.

Nordia Edwards, the mother of Nikita, requests the death punishment for the perpetrator. The previous lover of Edwards, Omar Green, has been charged and detained. The distraught mother feels the authorities’ charges for her only daughter’s death are insufficient.
“Watching my daughter go down as this hurts,” the bereaved mother stated.
My perspective is that charging the guy is not justice. If my daughter falls, so should he. Edwards considers that justice. She wondered how a criminal could stay in prison and consume government money while I sobbed all night.
According to Edwards, that doesn’t bring closure and she wants the killer of her daughter executed. Nordia Edwards requested a legal change from the government. If you commit a crime like that, you die immediately if found guilty. Thus, justice. Too much is happening. It must stop this. Nikita Noel’s mother: Joanna never deserved this. Edwards thought naming her daughter’s stepfather Omar Green disrespectful.
