Carl and Alice Yeary, her paternal grandparents, died in separate accidents, but both of them. Grandfather Majors passed away in a workplace accident. Her grandma was killed in a vehicle accident a year later.

In 1994, Majors’ parents separated after six years of marriage. Karen was married to Vic Ventimiglia Jr. from 3 June 1999 until 1 August 2004 before she became Nikki’s mother, Lee.
The mother of Majors, Karen Velez, was a Puerto Rican model and the year’s best playmate for Playboy. But she was born in Rockville Centre, New York, on January 27, 1961, when she was 60 years old.
