Nina Arianda’s Family
Her father, Peter Matijcio, and mother, Lesia Matijcio, gave birth to the Tony Award-winning actress on September 18, 1984. Nina’s parents were Ukrainians who immigrated to Germany.
Her parents have only one child. Her mother is a visual artist, while her father is a life artist. Yes, she said so in an interview with Interview Magazine when questioned about her family.
When asked if she comes from an artistic family, Nina replied, “Yes, my mother is a visual artist and my father is a life artist.” She also expressed her gratitude for having parents who encouraged her to pursue her dream of being an actress.
When asked about their support, she stated, “I believe I was fortunate to have parents that recognized it as something that could not be debated.
I shall be eternally grateful for that.”
