On October 14, 2022, social media celebrity Nubia Cristina Braga was murdered outside her home in the Santa Maria neighborhood in Aracaju, Brazil. On her way home from a hair salon, Nubia Cristina Braga was shot and killed, according to the New York Post.
At approximately 9 p.m., Brazilian officials arrived at the scene and discovered the 23-year-old corpse. old’s 7News reports that authorities suspect two men were involved in the crime.
As Braga arrived home, she was allegedly confronted by the two suspects, who allegedly abandoned their motorcycle in front of her residence and entered through the front door.

She stated that Braga had never hinted she may have opponents. Menezes continued:
“We wish to learn why they injured Nubia. If Nubia felt threatened, she never said it.”
The assassination of the influential person aroused shock and outrage among her followers, with many believing that it was emblematic of Brazil’s chronic lack of law enforcement.

According to the Latin Times, another user reported that she was murdered just three hours after her last post.
The user explained:

According to Meauwww, Nubia Cristina Braga’s latest post was a live webcast of her salon visit. The Brazilian police have requested anyone with information on the murder to come forward.
