At Brusly High School’s football field, hundreds of people came to pay respect to Maggie Dunn, 17, and Caroline Gill, 15, who were both students and cheerleaders.
On New Year’s Eve, a cop crashed with the two adolescents’ automobile while he was chasing a suspect in a home invasion at a high rate of speed.
Liam Dunn, Maggie’s brother, was a passenger when the car collided and is presently in serious condition.

The Advocate reports that David Cauthron, a 42-year-old Addis Police officer, reportedly blew a red light while pursuing Tyquel Zanders, 24, and collided with the vehicle carrying the teens.
According to the publication, Zanders was charged with house invasion, vehicle theft, and aggravated flight after being stopped when his car stalled. He is also facing manslaughter charges, according to KKTV.
The 42-year-old Cauthron was detained on Sunday, according to KKTV, and has been charged with two charges of reckless murder and one case of careless harm. After allegedly taking a relative’s automobile, the police began pursuing the suspect, Tyquel Zanders.
Additionally, according to individuals who spoke to WBRZ, Cauthron did not use his brakes before hitting the car that Liam and the girls were travelling in.
