Thank you so much, MTV, for this distinction. I value this CD a great deal. It was a lot of fun to create a video to add context and relevance.
Since the fans voted for it, winning this honor is quite important. And I will always be grateful to everyone who has supported my music, my film, and me.
If not for you people, I wouldn’t be here. The love you have shown me has completely transformed my life.
In the documentary, Rodrigo records her debut album Sour while touring with her band between Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. The vocalist considers her record’s recording process as well as her feelings and experiences while writing songs and navigating adolescence throughout the voyage.
