Paris was an ambitious model when she became a victim of catfishing in 2011. Even though she was a rising celebrity, she used to flirt with renowned people on social media. She began flirting with notable athletes in the United States at one time. Chris Anderson, an NBA standout, was one of those athletes.
Paris messaged Anderson on Facebook often, but the basketball star never responded. She did, however, ultimately get a message from Anderson. They began conversing daily. They used to communicate by e-mail and text messages. Paris eventually began sexting Anderson.
Paris received a message one day from a man named Tom Taylor, who described himself as Anderson’s best buddy. Roxanne never questioned Taylor and Anderson’s bond and began speaking openly with him. Taylor gradually persuaded Paris to pursue her affair with Anderson further.
Meanwhile, Taylor stated that Anderson was eager to see her and that he would set up a meeting if she was ready. They eventually agreed to meet, and Anderson purchased an airline ticket to Paris. After that, Paris went to spend the weekend with Anderson.

She went on to explain that Andreson had shared her naked images with him and that she planned to put them online along with her identification and address. Taylor then uploaded all of the images to the internet and emailed her a link to them.
Frightened, Paris eventually dared to tell her mother everything, and the police were summoned at her request.
The Catfisher was eventually imprisoned.
Police learned that both Anderson and Paris were being catfished online after an extensive investigation. Everything was traced back to an IP address in Canada, according to police. And it turned out that Paris and Anderson were communicating through a third party the entire time.
