Parris also had a metacarpal fracture in his hand in 2019, necessitating surgery and causing him to miss four games.

The year after, he fractured his pedal foot and was put on the season-ending injured reserve list. He had minor injuries in a vehicle accident later in 2020, which led to cranial brain injury.

Parris suffered a PCL and MCL tear in his left knee in August 2020, which was his second injury in as many months.
