Bastianini was also brought to the hospital after being taken to the medical center, but on a scooter rather than an ambulance due to probable ankle and hand fractures. None of the Ducati work vehicles started up again as a result.

Bagnaia, an Italian who was born in Turin, began riding Minimoto bikes when he was a little child and went on to win the 2009 European MiniGP title. He competed in the Pre-GP 125 Mediterranean Championship for the first time in 2010, placing second with the Monlau Competición squad.
Pecco Bagnaia competed in the 125cc class of the Spanish Championships in 2011 and took first place in one of the events. He finished third in the championship behind Lex Márquez and Luca Amato with seven race wins and two second-place finishes riding a Honda NSF250R during the 2012 CEV Moto3 season.
