Pennsylvania Police Issue An Arrest Warrant For Bam Margera

Sunday’s “physical confrontation” resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for Bam Margera by state police in Pennsylvania.

Police say they were summoned to a Chester County residence on April 23 at 11 a.m. in response to a disturbance report. Allegedly, the former “Jackass” star was involved in an altercation with a household member, who sustained minor injuries.

“Margera fled into a wooded area prior to the arrival of [Pennsylvania State Police] and has not been located as of this time,” the statement reads. On Monday, an arrest warrant was issued for him.

Jess Margera, the musician brother of Bam Margera, appeared to corroborate the altercation on social media.

Monday, Jess Margera tweeted from a verified account a screenshot of Instagram correspondence in which he claimed Bam “threw some punches at me, which I blocked.”

The arrest warrant was issued just months after Margera, a former skateboarder and television personality, was hospitalized in December with pneumonia and required ventilation.

In January, Margera appeared on the podcast of his erstwhile “Jackass” co-star Steve-O to discuss the experience.

Margera stated,

“Essentially, I was pronounced dead on December 8.” “I was unaware that I had virulent COVID and that my body was closing down. I experienced four convulsions, each lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. On the fourth one, I bit my tongue so severely that it almost fell off. It became so bloated and distended that it no longer fit in my mouth. I drank the infected blood, which also gave me pneumonia.”

Margera and Steve-O both got their start in Hollywood on the MTV prank-stunt series “Jackass,” but Margera was not involved in last year’s “Jackass Forever” feature film because he violated a contract clause requiring him to remain sane during filming.

Bam filed a lawsuit against Paramount and “Jackass” ringleader Johnny Knoxville in August 2022, alleging that the creators coerced him into signing the “wellness agreement” for the film while he was still in rehabilitation.

The lawsuit alleged that Margera was dismissed after testing positive for Adderall, despite having a prescription for the drug for ten years. The lawsuit was resolved in the end.
