Chris Smith’s partner of 26 years, Petara Cordero, passed away suddenly on September 11, 2019.
Haven Harris Smith, the infant daughter of Cordero and Smith, was lost away in an Ohio vehicle accident a few weeks after she was born.
The gorgeous couple had been together for a very long time and had three children together. Chris and Petara were preparing to be married.
Car Crash Involving Petara Cordero
Petara Cordero, a Topgolf event ambassador, perished on September 11, 2019, at about 2:00 a.m., after Smith’s Lamborghini burst a tire and collided with a median wall, according to the Cleveland Police Department.
The collision happened near the West 140th Street exit. Cordero was hit by a Mazda being driven by a woman as the ex-couple got out of the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to Fairview Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
According to accounts, the Mazda’s driver was intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent.
A message was posted on the Cleveland Browns website. The statement states, “Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for Chris following the passing of his girlfriend, Petara.”
“Chris, his family, and the Cordero family are in our thoughts and prayers. The owners of the Browns, Jimmy and Dee Haslam, said in a statement that they will do all in their power to provide the family support, solace, and assistance at this terrible time.

Petara Cordero Is In A Better Place, According To Chris Smith
Chris Smith wrote a moving tribute to Petara Cordero after losing his girlfriend in an accident.
Smith shared pictures of their beautiful moments together and expressed his confusion about her girlfriend’s removal from him, but added that he knew she was in a better place.
Cordero was referred to by the speaker as “my wifey, best friend, and the mother of my beautiful daughter,” and he continued, “God has a plan for every single one of us that we can’t understand, but she is in a better place now, and she can rest easy.”
He wrote, “Love you, baby,” adding the phrase “stay strong,” which seemed to allude to the tattoo Cordero had on her chest.
On his Instagram Story, Smith also revealed that he and several of his loved ones got the identical phrases tattooed on them.
The lady who hit Petara Cordero was not charged by the authorities. She struck Smith’s vehicle despite not being legally drunk or driving too fast, it has been claimed.
When a 2017 Mazda 3 struck Cordero and the open passenger-side door of the footballer’s Lamborghini, Smith and his girlfriend were standing outside their car.
