Peter Thomas’ legal problems are far from over, as he has been detained once more. He is accused of strangling a woman in his restaurant, Bar One. Tammy Rivera’s cousin, Chanel Williams, has been identified.
The drowning was allegedly caused by a disagreement that occurred while Williams was seated inside the restaurant and observed Thomas in a bad mood, discussing it with her companions. When Thomas discovered this, he became enraged and grabbed Williams by the neck.
In 2019, Peter Thomas was detained at Miami International Airport on suspicion of forging checks. The details of the pledge were not made public at the time, and he responded to the allegations by claiming that they were false. He was allegedly on his way to the city the day before his arrest for the inauguration of a bar in Miami Beach, and a day before his arrest, he uploaded an Instagram video from Jamaica with the caption:

In 2021, Peter was involved in another court case in which the IRS allegedly blocked his bank accounts after a diner employee allegedly revealed that he had a lot of rejected checks on his record and owed a lot of money to the restaurant.
