When Bachelor Nation stars Peter Weber and Kelly Flanagan announced their relationship on Instagram, fans were elated. Peter and Kelly, who had rekindled their romance a few months earlier, took to social media on October 14, 2022, to announce their engagement.
Peter Weber took to Instagram to demonstrate their relationship, posting a snapshot of the two of them at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
Kelly was cuddled in Peter’s arms, and the two were grinning at one another. Peter was dressed in a black suit and a Yankee hat, while Kelly wore a gray coat and black boots.
The Bachelor Nation star captioned his image “Home Run.” Peter and Kelly had previously appeared in photographs together. In August of this year, the couple was observed enjoying a Chicago Cubs game.
They were spotted at a charity gala held by Bachelor alum Tyler Cameron in honor of his late mother later that month.
A source from Bachelor Nation told E! that the couple rekindled their relationship in September and that “Kelly could not deny their connection.” Peter and Kelly reconciled in 2021, after having separated in 2020.
According to Kelly and Peter’s dreadful breakup in 2021,
“It ended horrifically horribly.”
In December 2020, Kelly and Peter’s relationship was in shambles, and they separated around the holiday season.
Kelly stated on the Girls in the Office podcast that she and ABC planned to announce her separation from Peter in January 2021. In the meantime, Peter desired to end their relationship before the new year.
She declared:
“I warned him not to do it on New Year’s Eve, and he asked for a few days to notify everyone.” I suppose he had a goal to do something by the end of the year 2020. ABC stated, “Guys, try to drown it out with the premiere.” People will be more excited about other things if you do it the day before’… He must finish it by 2020.”
Kelly said after some time that Peter was wanting to revive their relationship. Kelly stated on the Off the Vine show that the couple briefly dated again after their divorce.
She disclosed:
“He’s making statements such as ‘I love you and I want to get back together with you'”
After Valentine’s Day in February 2021, the couple ended their relationship permanently.
Kelly declared:
We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. And then there were smaller things… It didn’t end nicely.”
She proceeded to say:
“I basically disregarded him. I eventually left New York and traveled to the apartment of one of my girlfriends to spend time with her. He contacted me, I did not respond, and then I received unwelcome news. We may still be able to locate each other on Find My Friends. I exploded and essentially cried, “Get out of my life!” It didn’t end nicely.”
Despite the tragic breakup, love triumphed when the famed Bachelor Nation couple reunited.
