Mattingly wed Chelsea Carter in a ceremony held in Washington, D.C., on December 10, 2011. Since then, the pair has been blissfully wed and has been scandal-free. Cardar, their first child, was born in July 2017.
They had two more kids after Cardar, and the journalist often posted photos of them on his Instagram and other social media accounts. Within five years, Mattingly and his wife Chelsea Carter welcomed all three. They seem to be taking pleasure in becoming parents and nurturing their family as a unit.

A Look At The Family Of Phil Mattingly
Mattingly was born in Ohio in December 1985. Because Phil’s father, Rick Mattingly, was a member of the military, he spent his youth moving around.
He relocated regularly, and by the time he was nearly in the fifth grade, he and his parents had already done so eight or nine times. After his father retired from the military, they finally made Toledo, Ohio, their home. Phil attended junior high and high school there.
He has opted to keep his mother’s details private since there hasn’t been any information about her made public. Mattingly became passionate about playing baseball at a young age. He was a multi-sport athlete who participated in baseball while growing up in Toledo, Ohio.
