Photographer Sania Khan was allegedly murdered by her ex-husband Raheel Ahmed, 36, at her Streeterville residence on 18 July 2022. In addition, he confessed when he heard the police knocking on the door.
Georgian Raheel Ahmed drove to Streeterville to compete against Sania. Since his family had filed a missing person complaint with the Atlanta police, officers were dispatched to his East Ohio Street apartment to conduct a welfare check.
As soon as Chicago police knocked on the door, a gunshot was heard. Upon entry, they saw Sania’s back-of-the-head-shot corpse lying near the door. Ahmed was afterward recovered in a bedroom with identical wounds.
The relationship between Ahmed and Khan terminated in the winter of 2021. Khan’s connection with her parents was difficult since they disapproved of her decision to divorce Ahmed, despite his violent and poisonous behavior throughout the marriage.
Sania Khan is completely characterized
Photographer and content producer Sania Khan specialized in candid photography. According to her website, she began her photography profession when she bought her first DSLR.
She specialized in capturing intimate moments between couples on their wedding day. Khan was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 2021. As a former flight attendant with Spirit Airlines, she was responsible for cabin crew communication.
The 29-year-old has approximately 3000 TikTok fans. According to her biography, she was a divorced South Asian. She also claimed to be a photographer. The majority of TikTok content centered on her divorce and photographic adventures.
Following her unfortunate demise, one of her close friends, Grant, stated that Khan planned to return to her hometown and launch a new phase of her photography career.
Grant also asserted that they became friends at the Chattanooga School of Arts and Sciences owing to their similar passion for photography. Khan double majored in psychology and women’s studies.
Grant refuses to comment on Khan and Ahmed’s relationship. No other details on Khan’s personal life have been made public.

Even though Sania Khan was not a well-known figure, her colleagues have always respected her photography skills. People expressed their sadness on Twitter after learning of Khan’s death.
Sania’s predicament reflects the tragic reality that many parents cannot empathize with their daughters’ suffering in violent marriages. Many questions whether cultural traditions are more important to these parents than their child’s health.
