Pierre Zakrzewski, A Cameraman With Fox News Was Killed

Pierre Zakrzewski

During the Russia-Ukraine war, Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski was killed on March 14 near Horenka, Ukraine. Suzanne Scott, the CEO of Fox News, informed her employees of his death. Scott stated in her article that at the time, 55-year-old Zakrzewski was with journalist Benjamin Hall. While the veteran cameraman was killed, Hall was injured and is being treated in Ukraine at present.

Scott went on to say:

His bravery, professionalism, and work ethic were well-known among journalists of all media sources. Everyone in the media who had covered an international issue knew and respected Pierre.”

According to Scott’s note, which was included in the Fox News piece on Zakrzewski’s death, Benjamin Hall was traveling in a vehicle at the time of his death. According to the inquiry, the car was shot at, resulting in injuries to Hall and death to Zakrzewski.

Moreover, Fox reports that the two were in the region “collecting news.” Although Hall survived the incident, the condition of his health and recuperation are unknown. Zakrzewski is the second foreign journalist killed in Ukraine within a week.

The demise of former New York Times video journalist Brent Renaud was recently covered by the majority of news outlets. Also killed in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine was Renaud.
