In a new interview, Pink, 43, discussed his weight gain during the COVID-19 outbreak and attributed it to sourdough bread and surgery.
The singer said that she gained 36 pounds during her hiatus in 2020, but she has since lost it all and returned to her previous weight. In addition, she explained that while breaks may be “good” for her “voice,” they are not necessarily “good” for her “body.”
“Taking breaks is beneficial to my voice. Not very healthy for the body, according to Pink. “Most notably during COVID, I gained 36 pounds. I did nothing but prepare and consume sourdough. In addition to the hip surgery, I had a double disc replacement in my neck.”
Despite her previous physical difficulties, the “Glitter in the Air” singer is prepared to resume her tour later this month in support of her new album Trustfall.
“I am now a bionic woman. “I have shed 36 pounds and am now stronger than I have ever been,” she explained. “And I’m ready to depart, and I’m eager to leave this place. “I’ve been at home for much too long.”
In addition to her own health issues, Pink has also had to deal with her husband Carey Hart’s difficulties. Before the holidays, the professional motorcyclist revealed on Instagram that he was suffering from an infection.
“Well, this stinks. “I discovered a few days before Christmas that I had an infection in some ancient body hardware,” he stated in a December post. “After enduring a stressful holiday season, this tunneled catheter was implanted in my chest. Now, for the following 41 days, I must inject medications to eliminate this parasite.”
A few weeks earlier, Carey was also required to have neck surgery. He published photographs of himself smiling in a hospital bed prior to and during the operation.
“The surgery went wonderfully!!!!” I have already been up and out of bed three times to explore the operation facility. The vertebrae were fused because the joint was somewhat smashed,” he stated.
