Fans were shocked by the startling news because the singer was the first artist to sign with the agency in 2019 and has close ties to PSY. The idol has made the decision to depart the agency after three years.
She has always been fearless and brave, questioning the K-pop industry’s practices through her songs, music videos, and fashion choices.
The Cold-Blooded vocalist won the admiration and love of the K-pop crowd by being authentic. Rapper What Type of X has previously discussed PSY’s support and the simplicity of working with P NATION. Fans are asking which agency she would be joining and why she decided to do this given that she did not extend her contract.
When Jessi leaves P NATION after three years, fans are shocked
P NATION announced the cancellation of its agreement with Jessi, its first vocalist, on Wednesday, July 6. The statement acknowledged the accomplishment of the female idol and referred to her as a “source of encouragement for every member” of the organization.
“Jessi has cemented her place as an artist who is liked by more people thanks to her warm excitement and never-ending efforts,” says P NATION, “having been with P NATION from the beginning and now as P NATION’s first artist.”
Every member of P NATION was inspired by that process and her accomplishments, which turned out to be positive and thrilling sources of support.
The organization added that they would keep inspiring and assisting NUNU NANA in her future aspirations. While the news stunned some of the followers, others criticized the company for failing to effectively promote the idol.
In January 2019, Jessi joined P NATION and became the organization’s first artist. The diva had a number of successful songs while she was a member of P NATION. Nearly all of her tracks were instant hits, including Who Dat B, her second EP NUNU, which featured the popular song NUNU NANA, What Type of X, Cold Blooded, and Zoom.
The 33-year-old singer has been on a variety of shows, excluding collaborations, such as Sixth Sense, Hangout with Yoo, and Showterview.
She gained notoriety as a result of Showterview (now rumored to be hosted by Sunmi), and her searing songs further elevated her fame. Hours after the announcement, the rapper addressed the news on Instagram. She made it clear that she has no intention of retiring. While she is now on sabbatical, she is “just getting started.” It said, “Love you Pnation for life.”
The singer revealed that her contract was due to expire in two weeks during a discussion on contracts on Sixth Sense. The vocalist of NUNU NANA was then approached by Lovelyz’s Mijoo if she wanted to collaborate with yeol’s Antenna at Yoo Hee-agency.
Then, in jest, Jessi listed off all of Antenna’s perks and even inquired of a fortune teller about how she would fare at the new company. The video has now resurfaced online, and many believe it may have been a premonition of the idol’s transition to Antenna.
