Ray Shulman, the legendary progressive rock band Gentle Giant’s guitarist and co-founder, died recently at the age of 73. He died in London on March 30, after a long illness. Ray’s brother and bandmate, Derek Shulman, confirmed the news on Facebook.

“It is with great sadness that I inform you that Ray Shulman, my younger brother and best friend, died on March 30th at his home in London.” I stayed with him until the end as he battled a long illness. At the very least, I know he’s at ease now.”
