Despite the internet being shocked by her four-year marriage ending, the couple didn’t make a big issue out of it. Long before their breakup became well known, their silence and his Instagram behavior said volumes.

Slater and Farber’s divorce was first reported by Us Weekly. On August 24, they made their breakup public after receiving confirmation from insiders. However, it took some time for the news to get to the media.
When the story first surfaced, an insider told Us Weekly that “they’ve been apart for a while.” Both of them are leading different lifestyles and have stopped wearing their wedding bands.
Since they had been together for so long and shared fur babies, the insider claimed that choosing to end their relationship was “tough” for them.
They had not initiated a divorce proceeding despite their breakup and months of leading separate lives. They were adamant that their professional performance on DWTS succeed despite their issues. There have been whispers of a breakup for some time. They started after the ex-couple stopped posting pictures of one another on their personal Instagram profiles.
Furthermore, they did not celebrate or have a significant conversation on their wedding anniversary in March 2022. Additionally, people noticed Farber liking other women’s Instagram photos, which was taken as a sign that their relationship had ended by many.
Both the specifics of their divorce and a statement from each party’s end have not yet been made public. They will most likely explain things sooner rather than later because they are reality TV stars.

Breakups are nothing new for Slater and Farber; in fact, this is their second split. 2011 saw the start of their relationship, which ended in 2014.
Slater claimed at the time that their friendship had allowed them to go from being lovers to being the closest of friends. She at the time stated to Glamour that she will always be his closest friend. However, their time apart was brief.
After they had given a joint performance on DWTS in 2016, he popped the question to her live on television. Then they got married two years later. She was reluctant despite being aware of her impending old age and her ex-desire husband to start a family. She claimed that because of her intense emphasis on her career, she might not consider children for a while. She said in the interview that there wouldn’t be any issues if he could carry the child.
Unfortunately, those that shipped the couple won’t hear any baby news any time soon. But who can say? Maybe Slater and her ex-husband will get back together like they used to.
