Reddit: Who Murdered Robert Wone? Killer Cause Of Death And Case Details

Robert Wone

The most perplexing murder case in Washington, D.C. history has left many on the internet wondering who killed Robert Wone.

Robert Wone, whose real name was Robert Eric Wone, was an American lawyer. In August 2006, he was found dead in the guest bedroom of his buddy Joe Price’s home in Washington, D.C.

Days before, the victim had shown up to Price’s residence as scheduled after a late shift. Neighbors claimed to have heard a scream around half an hour after Robert arrived at the house. Subsequently, the scream was recognized as belonging to Zaborsky, his friend’s wife.

Zaborsky called the emergency number at 11:49 p.m. Ambulances and cops from the Metropolitan cops Department arrived five minutes later.

On August 3, at 12:24 a.m., Wone was pronounced dead at the George Washington University Hospital.

Robert Wone Was Murdered by Who?

Even after more than ten years of investigation, the police still haven’t been able to solve the mysterious murder case. On the other hand, there are a lot of ideas and suspects surrounding this case.

The deceased attorney was discovered dead in the home he lived with Price’s two love companions, Dylan Ward and Victor Zaborsky, who were the first three suspects in the investigation.

The trio of men said that Wone was killed by an outsider, but they denied any involvement in the killing and denied any sexual relationship with Wone.

A knife that was missing from a cutlery set in Dylan’s room was the right size, according to the police, which led to allegations that one person in the home was responsible for the murder, according to Newsweek.

Furthermore, according to the same source, Price’s account changed from stating he found the knife on top of the victim’s corpse and transferred it to the bedside table to saying he had taken the weapon off Wone’s body, suggesting that the second idea was that all three men were attempting to cover up the murder.

The cause of Robert Wone’s death

The deceased lawyer’s causes of death were sexual assault and stabbing. But the knife used to stab him was missing from the site of the crime.

The victim was slain inside 1509 Swann Street after being pushed down, rendered unconscious, and sexually assaulted, according to the allegations. Wone did not have any drug residue, according the postmortem report.

Furthermore, the surgical accuracy of the wounds indicated that Robert had not moved when stabbed.

Details about Robert Wone’s case

The late attorney’s death was declared by the George Washington University Hospital on August 3 at 12:24 a.m.

The victim’s previous three male companions were the first suspects because, over the course of the investigation, they asked a number of sexually provocative questions. They denied having anything to do with the murder, however.

Two weeks after the murder, police publicly claimed that the crime scene had been changed. For almost three weeks, investigators conducted a comprehensive inspection of the rowhouse.

Furthermore, it was said in a statement supporting the search warrant for Price’s D.C. offices that the vicinity of the victim’s corpse had been cleared.

Since the murder case had been handled by three different prosecutors for more than a year at the U.S. Attorney’s office, there had been no movement in it.
