The main suspect in the death of a fourth victim is Rex Heuermann. Rex, an architect who had a business in New York City but spent his entire life there, commuted there.
The 59-year-old architect and his brother Craig were reared in the messy 1956 house on First Avenue, directly across the water from where 11 remains have been found strewn since 2010.
He bought the house in 1994 for $170,000 from his mother Dolores, according to property records.
In the same year, he established RH Architecture Design, which is situated on Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan and where he was arrested late on Thursday.
Victoria Heuermann, Rex Heuermann’s daughter, and their son are shown in a family photo.
Rex is considered a family-oriented father of two. His daughter Victoria was recognized as an employee of his Rex Heuermann Architecture company. Rex Heuermann Family Photo is widely available online.
Due to his arrest on Thursday, July 14, the team members are no longer visible to the general public on the organization’s website.
His daughter uploaded a casual image of herself wearing sunglasses and beaming widely on the internet.
Victoria is an artist and a New York Institute of Technology graduate. The 26-year-old is a happy young woman searching for a job in animation, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She gave her name and stated,
“I am a recent BFA in Fine Arts graduate of the New York Institute of Technology.”
In her resume, she stated,
“I know 3D/2D Animation, Modeling, Sculpting, Autodesk Maya/Mudbox, ZBrush, ToonBoom Harmony, Photoshop, Illustrator, and editing in After Effects and Premier.”
Prior to joining Bideawee’s animal welfare network, she volunteered for three years while working at Macy’s from July 2017 to December 2019.
Even Victoria’s LinkedIn page has a tastefully selected selection of her artwork. The New York Post reports that Rex is also the father of a youngster whom his neighbors refer to as a “partially disabled kid.”
Even though his identity is unclear, many of his neighbors believe he is Rex’s stepson.
In a statement to the media regarding his son, their next-door neighbor Etienne DeVilliers said, “He has a youngster that is somewhat disabled. a charming young dude. DeVilliers said that we spoke regularly and frequently every day. He has a nice special needs child, according to CBS News.
Details about Wife Of Rex Heuermann
Asa Ellerup, the widow of Rex Heuermann, is said to be of Icelandic ancestry by the locals and legends.
Heuermann’s single photo on her Facebook profile shows her staring in Ellerup’s direction. According to reports, Ellerup, also 59, resides in the same Massapequa Park home.
But it merely adds a bit more information about her. The former New York City fireman who lives next door, Etienne DeVilliers, could only describe her as “quiet.”
Heuermann’s wife showed up at Suffolk County Court in Riverhead on Friday but remained silent throughout the proceedings before his anticipated arraignment today.
At the news conference on July 13th, Suffolk County Police Commission Rodney Harrison declared,
“Rex Heuermann is a demon that walks among us.”
If not for the members of our task group, he would still be living on the streets today as a predator that destroyed families. Even with the arrest, according to PEOPLE magazine, we’re not through yet.
Additionally, Rex is accused of using his iPhone to “compulsively” hunt up information about the Gilgo Beach murder victims and their families online.
