In The Outlaws, Rhianne Barreto appears as “the Asian good girl,” a stereotypical role. She acknowledged it herself. She was raised as a diligent and smart Oxbridge candidate by her watchful Asian parents.

Underneath it all, though, is a frayed thread that the show has been dragging on since the first episode.
The Asian girl turns out to be a kleptomaniac, and the plot involves her getting into trouble because of her theft tendencies.
In the movie, The Outlaws, Christopher Walken, Eleanor Tomlinson from Poldark, and Stephen Merchant all play different crooks that Barreto meets along the way. Each of the characters has a unique history.
The convicts will finish their 100 hours of community service by renovating a dilapidated community facility in Bristol.
“We are archetypes to destroy archetypes… The Evening Standard spoke with Barreto about The Outlaws. “We’re linked as offenders with people that would jar us in daily life, people we wouldn’t engage with, but who genuinely complete us.
She explained the coping processes used by her character and that she found a variety of coping mechanisms fascinating.
What people do to cope is interesting, Barreto told the magazine. “I suppose you find a way to rebel if you’re isolated with really strict parents,” the speaker said.

She has layers, layers that the program was prepared to explore, even though her character in The Outlaws initially seems to be simple. Barreto has gained a lot of respect from other artists and aspirants due to her standing and reputation.
Several young brown girls had said to her, “I’ve never seen somebody like you in your career, at your level.”
On the other side, she found these sentiments gloomy. That they don’t have that representation is extremely bad since I stand out from the crowd and serve as a shining example for them.
Barreto’s devoted parents helped her succeed in the entertainment industry. Although her family had no connections, she did have one benefit over the majority of children her age: her parents were understanding.
She told the outlet, “I know a lot of people who wanted to act but were convinced by their parents to go to college and study something traditional first.
She felt strongly that she should be a role model for many others as a result.
Not to downplay the significance of supportive roles, but rather to speak out in favor of her people.
She argued, “I think it’s extremely important that brown or non-white individuals aren’t just playing the supporting role unless it’s an [expletive] amazing part, so that big shows don’t get attacked for not being diverse.
Barreto, on the other hand, was thinking of diversifying into other areas of the arts, such as directing. She wanted to direct theater or movies. She intended to create something original from her perspective.
