This is a fresh development following charges of domestic violence that surfaced online earlier this month. Marca, a Spanish news website, claimed that the latest accusation came from Martin’s 21-year-old nephew.
According to the tabloid, the musician and his nephew apparently had a seven-month relationship. According to rumors, the alleged relationship ended two months ago. In accordance with Puerto Rican law, Martin may face up to 50 years in prison if the allegations of incest are proven to be true.

After Marca published the accusation, Ricky Martin’s attorney criticized the individual who leveled the charge. His reps informed DailyMail.com:
“Unfortunately, the guy who brought this accusation suffers from severe mental health concerns. Ricky Martin has never had and will never have a sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew.”
The representative continued by saying:
“The notion is not only untrue, but repugnant as well. We all hope that this individual receives the necessary assistance.”
According to Marca, Ricky Martin’s older brother, the rock musician Eric Martin, identified the victim as their nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez. However, it is unclear why Sanchez, age 61, was the accused victim of Martin’s assault.
Neither sibling has commented on the new allegations between Martin and his nephew as of yet. In addition, it is unclear whether the representative’s comments were addressed at Eric Martin.
Meanwhile, Ricky Martin addressed the previous allegations of domestic violence against him at the beginning of July. The Puerto Rican native 50 years old tweeted:
“Because the protection order obtained against me is based on completely false allegations, I will respond in court with the honesty and dignity that characterize me. Due to pending legal actions, I am unable to make full statements at this time. I am appreciative of the numerous expressions of support, which I accept with open arms.”

The jokes concerned the English title of the song, which roughly translates to “Livin’ the Crazy Life.” They likened the translation to Martin’s current situation, where he is suspected of having an improper and illegal relationship with his 21-year-old nephew.
Some tweets ridiculed the singer’s performance of the song and refused to acknowledge it. Instead, they recognized Livin’ La Vida Loca, which was performed by the characters of Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas in the 2004 film Shrek 2.
A few tweets even sarcastically attributed the aforementioned music to these two superstars. There is currently no evidence to support Martin’s alleged relationship with his nephew. The Puerto Rican sources and Dennis Yadiel Sanchez have not responded to the charges.
