In addition, she placed fourth in the 200-meter freestyle and sixth in the 100-meter freestyle.

In 2019, Riley competed in the 4100-meter and 4200-meter freestyle relays at the World University Games in Naples, Italy, where she won two gold medals. She also won silver in the 200-meter and bronze in the 100-meter freestyle events.

Riley qualified for the United States Olympic team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she displayed outstanding performance.
