Robert Edward Turner—a billboard magnate—was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. When Ted was 9 years old, he and his family moved to Savannah, Georgia. He was at McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Besides, CNN Ted Turner was also the former owner of the professional baseball team, Atlanta Brave and Atlanta Hawks. In 1986, Ted created the Goodwill Games, an international sports competition. Besides, he expanded his business to the establishment of a restaurant chain called Ted’s Montana Grill (2002) in his hometown of Ohio. As of January 2020, 45 separate outlets have been set up across 17 US states.
Ted is estimated to have accrued a burgeoning net value of $2.2 billion. The world-renowned media tycoon was also active in philanthropy activities. He contributed half his fortune as a charity to the United Nations Programme.

Ted’s habit of overdrinking took a couple’s marriage toll. Julia (Judy) filed a divorce even before Robert, her second child, was born. But after Robert was born, the couple agreed to put aside their differences and focus on their marriage.
In 1967, the divorce occurred anyway, and Ted received custody of his two children. After the divorce, Ted met his second wife at a political rally in Atlanta. They were married in 1964. Ted and Jane had three children, Rhett, Beauregard, and Jennie the youngest. Much like Ted’s first marriage, the marriage partnership with his second wife lasted 23 years. They were officially divorced in 1987.
Ted met his third wife, Jane Fonda, with his bitter romantic past. Jane was an oscar-nominated actress in a variety of movies. In 1991, the couple tied the knot. They had been blessed with a daughter named Maria Williams. But the relationship ended bitterly in 2001 when Jane filed for divorce from Ted.
Jane suspected him of being involved with other women in the middle. As compensation, Ted paid Jane $70 million and the lawsuit was settled. In 2012, Ted told Telegraph News that he had secret affairs with four different women at once.
