In June 2014, he received the Association for Computational Linguistics Lifetime Achievement Award; the same year, Medallion, the company’s largest fund, handled $25 billion in assets. Robert announced his retirement from his role at the organization in late 2017. However, he is a director of eight firms included in the Paradise Papers, with some of them accused of legitimately evading US taxes, whatever that entails in practice.
