A 25-minute audio recording of RTI activist Gangadhar and IPS officer D Roopa Moudgil has gone viral. In the recording, the IPS officer is heard accusing IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri of engaging in illegal activities and referring to her as a House breaker. On Wednesday morning, an audio clip of a conversation between RTI activist Gangadhar and D Roopa went viral.
The IPS officer accused IAS Sindhuri of abusing her position of authority. The audio recording has gone viral on social media. According to the recording, the IPS officer said, “She (Sindhuri) has gathered land-related information from the land records office where my husband works.”
I’ll also inform you (RTI supporter) that you assisted and benefited from it. That is all I can say. “Get away,” IPS Roopa allegedly said in the recording. D Roopa claimed Rohini Sindhuri used her spouse to complete a land transaction. She allegedly added that Rohini Sindhuri is the source of her family’s problems. Roopa claimed that she was contagious and would affect anyone.
S.P. D Roopa’s allegations of corruption have been refuted by Rohini Sindhuri. According to Sindhuri, Roopa made these remarks about Sindhuri out of personal competition. According to the IAS official, Roopa was acting as if she had lost her mental equilibrium. The two officers have accused each other of violating civil service guidelines. The IAS officer has even threatened D Roopa with legal and other appropriate legal action.
How did Rohini Sindhuri start her Professional Career?
Sindhuri was assigned to the position of deputy commissioner in Tumakuru as a government team member from August 29, 2011 to August 31, 2012. She was also the commissioner of Tumakuru’s urban development division at the time, a position she held until December 31, 2012.
As commissioner, she helped remove encroachments from Horpete Road, J.C. Road, and Kyathsandra Main Road by computerizing tax collection at the source. It was successful in acquiring 42 acres of corporation property in the village of Ajjagondanahalli that had been pending since 2006.
She is fondly remembered in Tumkur for completing the district’s busiest road project and removing encroachments on M.G. Road. From August 10, 2013, to May 31, 2014, she was the Head of the Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Self Employment Project, Bengaluru. She later agreed to become the top administrative officer of the Mandya Zilla Panchayat, a position she held for more than a year.
