Romeo, a Nevada alumnus, and Jordan Love helped his team win an upset over the Cowboys in the NFL playoffs. Doubs’ first postseason game was remarkable, with the wide receiver catching all six targets for 151 yards and one touchdown.

Romeo Doubs Family: Meet Mother Nakima Whitley
Romeo Doubs was raised alone by his mother, Nakima Whitley. The wide receiver has never spoken much about his father, Jarmaine Doubs Sr., a former NCAA football player at Southern Utah. Romeo maintains a tight relationship with his mother, Nakima, as seen by previous social media posts showcasing her.
Previously, Doubs stated that his mother became a huge Packers fan following Super Bowl XLV. That’s why being chosen by them in 2022 meant so much to him. Romeo stated he was well-versed in Packer’s history because his mother supported James Jones and Greg Jennings.
Nakima graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and presumably took a break from school to spend more time with her family. However, in 2013, Nakima proudly tweeted a photo of herself graduating from Los Angeles Trade Tech. She captioned the photo, “Grateful I made it…” Yesterday was an emotional day, but all I can say is, “We started from the bottom, and now we are here!” Doubs has three siblings: two brothers and a sister.
Jarmaine Doubs Jr., his older brother, also played college football at Southern Utah. Jarmaine, Romeo’s elder brother, currently plays for the Arizona Rattlers in the Indoor Football League. He is on Instagram and has shared a few updates from his stint in the IFL. Jarmaine is in his second season with the Rattlers, after previously playing with the San Diego Strikeforce. Romeo’s two siblings, Nakano and Anastazia, have maintained a low profile.
