Ronny Chieng | Wife And Married Life

Ronny Chieng

One of Malaysia’s rising stars in the stand-up comedy scene is Ronny Chieng. Since making his screen debut, he has experienced enormous success.

His amusing appearance on comedy shows has made him more well-known; his outrageous performance on Comedy Central’s The Dail Show in particular catapulted the performer to international stardom.

Who Is The New Wife of Ronny Cheing? His Three Distinct Wedding Rituals

Since 2016, Ronny and Hannah Pham have been wed. In the same year, the comic disclosed in the Netflix stand-up special “Asian Comedian Destroys America” that the couple had three separate wedding ceremonies. His wife Hannah’s family resides in Melbourne, Australia, where the couple originally got married.

Due to flying delays, the stand-up comedian was unable to attend the customary Chinese tea ceremony in Melbourne at that particular time.

The couple said their vows for the second time in Malaysia, where Ronny’s family is resident. Earlier in 2019, the comic discussed being married to his wife in three different ceremonies during an interview with Public Radio Tulsa.

Chinese weddings are a lot for the parents to kind of gloat about, especially when your families are dispersed over the world like ours are. Therefore, we facilitate their bragging since it is our obligation to them. In Australia, then, is her family. Alright, we’ll head over and plan to attend one wedding for them. My kin resides in Malaysia. We intend to visit Malaysia and arrange one for them.

On September 9, 2016, Ronny and Pham tied the knot for the third time in NYC City Hall. “For green card purposes” was the reason for their third ceremony held in NYC.

During his most recent stand-up comedy spectacular, the comic from Malaysia made a joke about how his wife said he had tone difficulties.

When Did They Initially Get Together? The Couple Got Married A Year Before

Ronny and Hannah, his life partner, have never discussed how and when they originally connected. Numerous reports seem to indicate that the future couple met while attending the University of Melbourne, where they both earned degrees.

Speaking of their engagement, in December 2015, Ronny asked his then-girlfriend to marry him after they had been dating for a while.

The couple has also maintained some privacy in their love lives, similar to many other famous couples. Their public appearances have been few and far between over the years.

One of their seldom-together appearances took place in July 2018 at the “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” U.S. Premiere in Washington, DC, where they were spotted kissing.

Do They Own Kids?

Furthermore, after being married for more than four years, the pair has not shared a child and does not appear to be planning to do so anytime soon.

Cooking Is Ronny Chieng’s Wife’s Passion

The comedian revealed to The New York Times in April 2018 that after moving to New York from Australia, he and his husband have become avid cooks.

Since we departed from Australia, we have developed a strong passion for Chinese cookery. We’ll prepare steamed fish, won tons, or map tofu.

Tonny disclosed that his girlfriend, Pham Bam Kitchen, has her own YouTube channel. The channel, which offers a variety of cooking tutorials, specializes in delicious Asian cuisine. And as of 2022, it had 1.99k subscribers.

Hannah shared in a channel introductory video how she came to be a skilled Asian cook.

“I started to miss home cooking when I moved to New York, so I learned how to make my favorite Asian dishes by watching a lot of YouTube videos and FaceTimeing with my mom.”

Both of them are law students.

Ronny attended the University of Melbourne in Australia, where he studied law alongside his spouse Hannah. 2009 saw Ronny graduate from the college with a Bachelor of Laws, and the following year, his future wife Harm also achieved the same degree. Additionally, they both hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the college.

Chieng continued his education at the Australian National University after that, earning a degree in legal practice in 2012. Despite having every intention of becoming a lawyer, Chien ultimately decided to pursue comedy, and in 2013 he got his first engagement at a comedy festival in Melbourne, Australia.

He was performing alongside Trevor Noah at the time.

Variety listed Ronny as one of the 10 Comics to Watch in July 2016.

In 2023, will Ronny and Hannah still be wed?

The husband and wife appear to be enjoying a wonderful marriage and are still together. The couple, who were wed in 2016, has a strong bond and no reports of problems in their marriage have surfaced.
