As previously mentioned, Rosalie Jean Willis was American criminal Charles Manson’s first wife. On January 28, 1937, in the United States, she was born. She was the daughter of Virginia McNich and her father, Clarence Willis. Rosalie, the third of her parents’ four children at birth, had a very typical childhood.
She was raised in Benwood, West Virginia, together with her parents and siblings for the majority of her early years. The eighty-four-year-old had a brother named Clarence “Buster” Willis and two older sisters, Amy and Eileen.
Sadly, neither her brother nor her parents are still living. In addition, Rosalie was of Caucasian ethnicity and American citizenship.

She raised the child alone until her mother joined her when her ex-husband was away. Willis moved to a new city and settled down with a different man when her child grew older. But the stigma attached to being the son of a criminal proved too much for her eldest son to bear.
He eventually shot himself in the head at the age of 37.
