Safaree the rapper and his wife, Erica Mena, have divorced. TMZ was able to secure court documents bearing the judge’s signature on September 12. In a settlement reached through arbitration, the ex-couple agreed that the rapper would provide $4,305 in child support each month.

Mena, who had been living separately from her husband but had joint custody of their children, filed for divorce in May of last year. On Christmas Eve 2018, the former couple announced their engagement. They were married in October 2019 and had their first child in February 2020.

However, Mena admitted that her husband was cheating on her and allegedly threw away all of his belongings in 2021 while she was expecting her second child. The child between Mena and Safaree was born in June 2021, one month after she requested a divorce.

Safaree made a lot of money from his efforts in the music industry

Born in New York City to Jamaican immigrants, Safaree Samuels became well-known in 2016 after making an appearance on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

To appear on Love & Hip Hop: New York, the rapper, who has two sisters named Shaneequa and Samantha Samuels, traveled back to New York City. The 41-year-old old’s worth is estimated by CelebrityNetWorth to be $3 million.

He has amassed considerable wealth as a rapper, songwriter, actor, and reality TV personality. Samuels and his ex-wife spent $848,000 on a house in Fayetteville, Georgia, in July 2020. The house went on the market in June 2022 and was purchased for $1.3 million.
