Sally Kellerman passed away at age 84 on February 24, 2019. The actress was well known for her portrayal as Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on M*A*S*H. Kellerman passed away in a Woodland Hills assisted living facility, and no information about her memorial has been disclosed.

Jack Krane, the son of Sally Kellerman, announced his mother’s passing after a long battle with dementia. She was diagnosed with the illness in 2017 and has struggled for the past few years.

Krane reported that he saw her the day before she passed away. The birth date of Sally Kellerman is June 2, 1937. Her mother was a piano instructor in Portland, Arkansas, and her father was a Shell Oil executive in St. Louis, Missouri.

About sixty years were spent by Kellerman in the entertainment industry. She has also appeared in films such as Brewster McCloud, Ready to Wear, and The Player, among others.

In addition to his acting career, Kellerman has recorded two albums of original music. She composed music for a variety of films, including Lost Horizon, Boris and Natasha: The Movie, Brewster McCloud, and others.

Due to her deep voice, Kellerman was chosen for voice-over work in advertisements for companies such as Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing, Mercedes-Benz, and Revlon.

Reform School Girl, a 1957 film, marked the debut of the California native from Long Beach. Following this, he continued to appear on television throughout the 1960s.

In 1970, she was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for her portrayal in M*A*S*H. Read My Lips: Tales from a Hollywood Life was released by Kellerman in April 2013. In her book, she reflected on her experiences in the entertainment industry.
