His college career, on the other hand, began in 2018 with Wake Forest University, when he earned the starting quarterback position during preseason camp. After defeating Rice on September 29, Sam was named ACC Conference Rookie of the Week. Hartman envisioned himself as a backup quarterback as a sophomore in 2019. He regained his starting role as a sophomore and team captain in 2020.

Davey O’Brien was named the 2021 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week following a game against Army. In addition, Sam was named the Brian Piccolo Award winner for the ACC’s most courageous player, and he was named second-team All-ACC. Sam Hartman Religion and Ethnicity

On any of his social media profiles, Sam Hartman, a football quarterback, has not disclosed his religion or race. Sam did, however, reveal his Christian beliefs as a memorial to his late brother Demitri. Furthermore, the North Carolina collegiate athlete is an American citizen. His parents are both doctors who work in the United States. Mark Hartman, Hartman’s father, is an orthopedic surgeon with over three decades of experience in his field.

He graduated from Wake Forest University and subsequently completed his residency at Tampa General Hospital in Florida. As a former NCAA football player, Mark also coached high school football for nearly 20 years. Meanwhile, Sam’s mother, Lisa, is a retired nurse.

Sam Hartman: Faith And A Late Brother

Joe Hartman is Sam’s older brother. Demitri Allison, Joe, and Sam’s adoptive brother came into their lives much later. He died in 2015, at the age of 21, after falling from Morrison Hall, a dormitory at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Sam still remembers his late brother, whose initials he had engraved on his bracelet.

“And when you love someone as much as you love a brother, missing him hurts just as much.” “I remember November 11, 2015 like it was yesterday.” When asked about his sibling, Hartman became agitated.

As a result of his faith, Sam gained strength and began to perceive things differently.

“However, one thing that helped me was my faith.” My brother and I were both reading the Bible when we came across Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, and it spoke to us both. I informed my mother, and my brother even got a tattoo of it.”

Demitri, like Sam, has a kind heart. Hartman still recalls his brother, and he continues to believe in God and Christianity.
