An English TV personality named Sarah Beeny has disclosed that she is battling breast cancer and is currently undergoing therapy.

The 50-year-old said she experienced a “little bit of a breakdown” after learning of her prognosis in an interview with The Telegraph on August 29. However, she did state:

She allegedly endured her first round of chemotherapy last week and will undergo radiation treatment and surgery later this year, according to the broadcaster.

Additionally, she spoke of “staying one step clear of the illness.” The TV personality also disclosed that she cut her hair short with the help of her family and donated it to a group that gives cancer patients’ children free wigs.

Beeny claimed that she had “waited for 40 years to hear those words” and that she had “always anticipated being diagnosed with breast cancer.” When she was 10 years old and her mother was 39 years old, she lost her mother Ann to the same illness.

Sarah Beeny is a real estate expert, businesswoman, hostess for TV, and author. She is well-recognized for serving as the host of television shows like Help! My home is falling apart.

Professional artist Graham, 49, has had his work displayed in numerous art exhibitions. But in 2020, he asserted that he had given up his job to focus solely on restoring an abandoned dairy farm. Billy, 17, Charlie, 15, Rafferty, 13, and Laurie, 12, were born to Sarah and Graham not long after they were wed. The household also has numerous animals.

For the Channel 4 series Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare, the presenter began documenting the restoration of rising Hall, a Grade II-listed historic home in rising, east Yorkshire, in 2010.

Before being sold in 2019, the property underwent renovation and was used as a family residence and a wedding venue. After purchasing the 220 acres (90 hectares) of sheep property in Somerset in August 2018, Sarah Beeny’s family relocated from London.

Since then, they have continued to work on it. Beeny disclosed to Hello Magazine in March 2019 that her husband had been the driving force behind the family’s relocation. She went on to say:

“We’ve always hoped to offer the boys that Swallow and Amazons childhood idyll,” says Graham of his desire to leave London.

She added that the couple intends to eventually have their grandchildren reside on the property.
