Sarah Holcomb, the Animal House actress, was born on September 11, 1958, in Weston, Connecticut. In terms of her early life, neither the internet nor Hollywood have anything to say. There isn’t anything in the records that could have explained her previous life.
Despite the fact that she was born in Connecticut, some odd sayings claim her parents also owned a home in San Miguel Allende, Mexico. Her mother was apparently an artist, but little is known about her father.

Her final cinematic appearance would be in the 1980 film Caddyshack, directed by the same man who directed Animal House. She portrayed Maggie, an Irish Caddy, in the film.
Despite not being an official part of it, Holcomb would become the major inspiration for a 2004 film, Stateside. The story recounts the love of a young US sailor and a promising actress and singer (played by Rachel Leigh Cook) who subsequently suffers from schizophrenia.

[Holcomb] was a teenager, much younger than the rest of us. We were a quick group. There were drugs everywhere. She got herself into what, for lack of a better description, you could call poor company. And then I got f***ed up on drugs. If memory serves, it was mostly Coke. This was not unheard of at the time.
Miller, the author and screenwriter, stated.
According to Miller, Sarah was not the only one in that group of friends who fell into addiction and a downward spiral. Kenney, the Caddyshack writer and producer, died in August 1980 after falling off a cliff. Despite the fact that physicians deemed it an accident, many people feel it was suicide. In March 1982, the film’s primary actor, John Belushi, died of multiple drug intoxication.
Holcomb was afflicted with schizophrenia.
Fortunately, Sarah did not suffer the same fate as her ex-costars, but her life afterward was nonetheless terrible. Miller, the screenwriter, stated that Holcomb wound up in some sort of rehabilitation institution and admits to knowing nothing about her since then. He did, however, say that hers was a tragic story. According to some previous verbal stories, the Connecticut-born actress spent some time in a psychiatric ward after her unofficial departure from the film industry. This was especially true after her schizophrenia diagnosis.

Bobby, the author of Connecticut Blogger, claimed and revealed that he met Sarah Holcomb in the Stanford railway yard in Stamford, Connecticut. But this was in 1989, or close to it.
Bobby adds that Sarah appeared to be in her mid-20s and was on her way to Westport, Connecticut. This person also states that after a brief conversation with Holcomb, she told him,
Acting jobs are scarce, and I’ve been dealing with a number of personal challenges recently.
Holcomb allegedly informed Bobby that she didn’t live in Westport but had relatives who did.
Is Holcomb still alive; is she married?
It is popularly assumed that Holcomb has been living a quiet, low-key existence away from the splendor of Hollywood for many years. She has also allegedly adopted a fictitious name. And, given her career trajectory, it’s reasonable that the former actress would like to avoid public attention.
Despite this, others claimed in 2014 that Sarah was residing in Amherst, Massachusetts. However, the statement is unsubstantiated.
There has also been some residual curiosity about her marital whatevs. However, given the ambiguity, nothing has been revealed about her marriage or her present personal life. Considering she’s been around for quite some time, it’s more than likely that Holcomb has had multiple relationships in the past; however, whether or not she has a husband in the present is a great mystery, as is her current whereabouts.
