Matt continued to send her hateful, threatening, and extremely distressing messages, including suicide threats, even after they had broken up.
The actress thankfully got a restraining order against Matt for domestic violence, banning him from having any contact with her.
She was granted a temporary restraining order in August 2014, which was made permanent in October of the same year.

In 2017, Sarah and Wells Adams started dating. The couple got engaged in July 2019 after dating for two years.
