Savannah was a four-year letter winner in softball at Godinez Fundamental High School. Extra Innings Softball ranked her as the country’s No. 6 recruit. She joined the Godinez Fundamental Softball team. On Saturday, the Godinez Fundamental varsity softball team defeated Sonora (La Habra, CA) 7-1 in a neutral tournament game.
She was defeated 4-1 by Marina (Huntington Beach, CA) in a neutral tournament game. On Wednesday, the Godinez Fundamental varsity softball team defeated Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA) 12-3 at home in a non-conference game. Once upon a time, said Pola. “I’m very pleased to be here,” she says, “and it’s like a dream.”
She had a 707 batting average, 29 hits, and 30 RBIs in just 13 games, including five home runs, five triples, and six doubles. “I’m going to help in the infield or outfield,” she said. “I’ll travel wherever they need me, and it makes no difference to me.” I’ll do whatever is required if I’m in the lineup. “All I want to do is help in whatever manner I can.”
Despite being UCLA’s highest-ranked freshman, obtaining playing time with a team that returns the majority of its lineup from the previous season will be difficult in 2022. But it is beyond Pola’s control, so for the time being, she is focusing on getting healthier and building ties with her new colleagues.

Thessa Malau’ulu, a sophomore infielder, grew up just 20 kilometers away from Pola’s house. She was named California Sophomore of the Year by Extra Inning Softball. Savannah helped her team win the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 championship as a sophomore in 2019. She led Orange County in hits her sophomore year, with 577, four home runs, and 30 RBIs. She was named to the All-CIF team as a freshman, sophomore, and senior.
