The second season of the American mockumentary comedy Welcome to Flatch has begun. On September 29 at 9 p.m. ET, FOX will air the first episode of Welcome to Flatch, season 2. The Fox comedy is certainly popular, and it is anticipated that it will become one of the top comedies on the network.
The first season’s success led to the series’ renewal for a second season. In March 2022, the pilot episode of Welcome to Flatch aired. The comedy series was filmed in a documentary style, with a film crew roaming the fictional Ohio hamlet of Flatch to capture the town’s and its residents’ daily lives. Kelly Mallett and Shrub Mallet, her cousin and best friend, are just two of the fascinating and peculiar people you’ll meet in Flatch. Of course, they are the main characters of the show.
Welcome to Flatch Season 2
The mockumentary-style comedy’s first season delved into each character and revealed their peculiarities, laying the basis for the story and the townspeople. One of the highlights of season 1 was Kelly and Shrub’s participation in the neighborhood’s annual Scarecrow Festival.
Father Joe, the local preacher, received the two cousins, his fiancée Cheryl, the well-known editor of the neighborhood paper The Flatch Patriot, and others.
The fourteenth episode, Merry Flatchmas, which focused on the local Christmas festivities, marked the end of the season. The celebrations went tragically wrong when Kelly gave her father control of them, which was the climax of the conclusion. The second season continues where the first one did.
So, we’ll have to wait and see what transpires following the Christmas catastrophe. Sadly, no trailer for season 2 has been made available. It appears that when the new season begins, we will be delving further into Flatch. Only three episodes of Season 2 have been confirmed thus far. The first episode is titled Welcome to (Barb) Flatch.

Aside from the returning actors, Jaime Pressly joins the ensemble cast as Barb Flatch, a former resident of the town who returns after a divorce. Emmy-winning Jenny Bicks, along with Paul Feig, Angie Stephenson, Daisy May Cooper, and Charlie Cooper, serves as the show’s executive producer and developed Welcome to Flatch, which is based on the British sitcom This Country.
