Holidays 2022: A Look at The Great British Baking Show

The goal of the series is to make the holiday season more cheerful. There will be brand-new challenges, dishes, and celebrity competitors. The Netflix program will adhere to the show’s main conceit, which is that contestants compete in a bake-off to win over the judges.

At the end of each episode, one person gets eliminated. The four celebrity contestants on The Great British Baking Show: Holidays will be Olly Alexander, Lydia West, Nathaniel Curtis, and Shaun Dooley. For his role as the film’s lead actor, Alexander won the British LGBT Award and garnered a BAFTA nomination.

In the miniseries, Lydia West played Jill Baxter, for which she was nominated for a BAFTA. Nathaniel Curtis plays Ash Mukherjee in the movie It’s a Sin. He joins Shaun Dooley and the rest of The Great British Baking Show as the new season gets underway.

In the teaser for The Great British Baking Show: Holidays, participants can be seen struggling to make a pie from leftover Christmas food. In the film, four celebrities are seen attempting to solve a problem while receiving advice from Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.

Celebrities are free to select any pastry they please, provided that “baking is vital.” Leith stated that the competitors must bake the dough until it is crisp and avoid baking it with a “soggy bottom.” The judges, who are all renowned British chefs, are anticipating delicate flavor and texture from these bakers.

The two judges have been a part of the brand for a very long time, and we can only hope they stay that way. Watch what transpires on November 18 when the Christmas-themed program debuts.
