See Camilla On The Eden Project’s Antiques Roadshow!

Camilla

Camilla, the Queen Consort, will appear in an episode of Antiques Roadshow recorded in Cornwall. The Queen Consort was filmed last summer at the Eden Project in St. Austell.

Camilla brought two artifacts from her own collection for the BBC One specialists to examine.

Peter Stewart, the chief purpose officer of the Eden Project, stated that it was a “complete honor” to receive Camilla.

The Queen Consort will present a unique snuffbox crafted from Cornish silver from the Royal Collection, as well as a copy of Thomas Gray’s Elegy in a Rural Churchyard.

Duncan Campbell, an expert and silver specialist on the program, stated that the snuffbox was the first all-English silver he had ever encountered in his career.

Camilla expressed curiosity in the 1899 binding of the poetry book, which was created by the Guild of Women Binders.

Fiona Bruce, who has hosted the Antiques Roadshow since 2008, stated that the Queen Consort was “simply a lot of fun.”

“She put everyone at ease and was eager to participate in the program and talk to everyone.”

Later in the episode, the Queen Consort and Bruce seek to determine the true function of three peculiar objects presented by jewelry expert Geoffrey Munch.

The host also addressed with Camilla her personal ties to the Eden Project and her support for The Big Lunch, a charity headquartered at the Cornish location that encourages people to eat a meal together as a community.
