Ramos, on the other hand, hasn’t appeared in a single match for the Parisians since his arrival four months ago. He hasn’t played in an official match since Real Madrid’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League on May 5.
Sergio Ramos developed tendinitis after that game and missed the entire month of July. After the injury, the 35-year-old developed calf issues that have kept him from playing to this day.
According to French media outlet Le Parisien, PSG may terminate the contracts of Sergio Ramos and his mentor Ramos (via Marca). They believe his injury issues are a roadblock. The French giants are concerned that losing the Spaniard will no longer be a “dystopian scenario” if these fitness issues persist.
Despite what the media has said, PSG has always been optimistic about Ramos’ return. Following PSG’s 2-1 win over Lille on October 29, Leonardo, the club’s sporting director, praised Ramos.
“We know about Ramos’ injuries. We all knew he had a problem, but the Spanish press is scheming. We are aware of what is going on.”
Ramos’ competitive debut for PSG could happen in the coming months or not.
