Arrest records show that Ashley Nicole Hyatt, 34, of Gillette, was pulled over by deputies yesterday, May 18, at around 4 p.m., for speeding near mile marker two on Interstate 25.
During the traffic stop, K-9 Pavel was deployed by Cheyenne Police Officer Pat Johnston, who alerted the automobile.
Approximately 17.4 grams of suspected fentanyl powder in a bag and approximately 21 grams of suspected fentanyl pills in their packaging were discovered by the police when the automobile was searched.

Hyatt and her companion, Michael Lorenzo-Christian Guzman, were taken into custody and charged with two counts of felony, each pertaining to the illicit possession of Schedule I and II drugs. They were then placed in the Laramie County Detention Center.
Hyatt was also being held according to a federal warrant. Guzman appeared in Laramie County Circuit Court for the first time on Friday.
Chief Clerk Emily Fowler said that Hyatt was not charged; he was charged with one count of illicit possession of fentanyl.
The preliminary hearing for Guzman was scheduled on May 26 at 3:30 p.m. A $5,000 cash bond was imposed for him.
