We’re Here on HBO will premiere its third season in less than a week. Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara, and Shangela will serve as the show hosts for the illustrious Emmy-winning series.

The three queens will go to small towns to raise awareness and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ population. In addition to hosting the show We’re Here, D.J. Shangela Pierce performs drag. Halloo is a famous phrase she uses. Shangela has participated in several drag performances that combine faultless performances with comic elements.
The queens will reportedly enlist a “diverse group” of residents from Texas, Utah, Florida, Mississippi, and New Jersey, according to the official synopsis of We’re Here. These people will share their stories as part of “one-night-only drag performances” to spread awareness and promote acceptance in their community.

We’re Here co-host and musician Shangela has given performances on five of the world’s six continents.
Paris, Texas is where Shangela is originally from.
She earned an honors degree from Southern Methodist University. Shangela is a member of the advisory board at the institution. California’s Los Angeles is where she now calls home.
She is also known for being the first contestant to take part in three separate seasons of the popular reality series RuPaul’s Drag Race on Vh1. According to her website, she has also appeared as a guest star on numerous TV shows. They include Katy Keene, The Mentalist, The X-Files, A Black Lady Sketch Show, and Glee.
Shangela has additionally made appearances in several theatrical releases, such as Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s box office sensation A Star Is Born. In 2019, Shangela was also a part of the TIME 100 Next List. She was listed as one of “America’s Most Powerful Drag Queens” by New York Magazine.
The We’re Here host established the nonprofit Feed The Queens. This project started in 2020. Shangela provided more than $100,000 in “food help to unemployed drag performers” during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the SMU LGBTQ Symposium, Shangela also performed and served as the keynote speaker.
Also, a finalist on season 31 of Dancing With The Stars is Shangela (DWTS). Her partner is Gleb Savchenko. On November 21 at 8 p.m. ET, Disney+ will broadcast the season finale. The pair will do a freestyle performance as well as a redemption dance. The couple will dance to Quickstep as their atonement.
They will perform Queen Bee by Rochelle Diamante. Shangela regularly posts photographs from the DWTS to her 1.6 million+ Instagram followers. The queen has added highlights, memories, and locations where she has performed alongside photos from her concerts.
