Shannon’s legacy is one of dedication and drive, as evidenced by her Olympic gold medals and World Cup victories. Shannon was a former soccer player who most recently represented the Chicago Red Stars in the American National Women’s Soccer League. While representing the United States, she won three Olympic gold medals.
She and Notre Dame also won the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship in 1995. Shannon will be inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame on May 21, 2022, in Frisco, Texas. Shannon is now an advocate for others suffering from lupus. Her efforts are bolstered by her own experience with the disease since 2007.

Her mother, Shannon, reportedly married her father, Aaron, less than a month before she was born. Zoe, at the age of nine, is a gifted child. Shannon stated on Instagram that he just graduated kindergarten and began first grade on August 29th. With soccer in his blood, Jaden aspires to play the sport and follow in the footsteps of his famous mother. Shannon never misses an opportunity to recognize her son, and she frequently sends emotional wishes on National Son’s Day. She also described Jaden as intelligent, amusing, and adorable, showcasing their mother-son bond.

Aaron Spearman Shannon Boxx and Aaron Spearman married in February of 2014. The couple’s love story, however, began in 2008, when they began dating.
They married in a private ceremony, which marked the start of their wonderful journey together. Parenthood, on the other hand, has become an important part of their lives, and they cherish family time with their two children. Aaron is the PGA Tour’s ShotLink Production Director. He attended Ithaca College from 1996 to 2000.
