The Riverdale actor admitted that she was bisexual in a tweet from April 2017 on Twitter. After criticizing Riverdale for ‘queerbaiting’ the story, fans made the announcement.
Although I don’t usually do this, today seems like a good time to be vulnerable. I just recently came out as bisexual to my family and friends. Purser continued, “I don’t like talking about it because it’s something I’m still processing and trying to understand.
Later, she discussed her decision to come out as bisexual with People. She didn’t think of herself as the perfect role model, but she wanted to be an inspiration to young people and someone they could look up to.
